London crime rate soared last year

Violent crimes in London soared by 30% last year.

In the last 12 months have been registered more than 130,000 violent crimes against the person across the city. Almost 30,000 more than 2013. The data released by  the Metropolitan police, shows that there has been a significant increase in every single London borough.

The following graphs show the top ten borough in terms of reported violent crimes in 2014 and the increase (%) compared to the previous year. The last bar chart reveals the full list of the 33 London boroughs, from the most dangerous to the less one.
